What is the difference between 'Add VAT' and 'Remove VAT'?
'Add VAT' calculates the gross total from the net price (e.g. €100 + 22% VAT = €122). 'Remove VAT' extracts the VAT from an already inclusive price (e.g. €122 gross → €100 net + €22 VAT).
What VAT rates are available?
The tool includes Italian VAT rates: 4% (essential goods), 5% (some services), 10% (food, tourism, restaurants) and 22% (standard rate for most goods and services). Custom rates are also supported.
